After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Arusha airport for your short chartered flight to North Serengeti. Upon arrival at the Kogatende airstrip, you will be met by our professional Morogoro Tourism Services Co. Ltd guide and you will proceed on a game drive in the wilderness following the trails of the Great migration.
You will witness millions of wildebeests joined by zebras, elands, and other hoofed animals, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life.
This, a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests, mating, and survival of the fittest through crocodile-infested water is what makes the Great Migration a most sought-after experience. At sundown, you will head to the lodge for your overnight stay. Where is lunch?

Day 2 & 3: North Serengeti National Park
You will spend 2 full days in North Serengeti exploring the Great Migration. A hot air balloon safari can be arranged on one of those days for an extra charge. In North Serengeti, both the Wagakuria and Kogatende areas are prime areas to track the wildlife migration from July to October as they become a paradisial corridor for the wildlife crossing between Maasai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Park.
The feature here is the Mara River where crocodiles and hippos live in harmony. You may see herds cross the river going north one day and return to the south a few days later, which is not an uncommon occurrence. During the crossing, an average of 6000 wildebeests die either massacred by crocodiles or by drowning but their bodies have a positive impact on the aquatic ecosystem. Where is lunch

In the afternoon you will head out for a game drive until sundown and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Central Serengeti is the epicenter of both resident and migratory animals.
You will venture to various locations to view wildlife as well and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Serengeti plains. All big five (lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, cape buffaloes), as well as other wildlife, can be spotted here.
These include Giraffes, Zebras, wildebeest, cheetah, warthogs, waterbucks, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, and many more. The Serengeti is also home to 600 species of birds.

Day 5: Central Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive
After early morning breakfast at the lodge, the entire day is dedicated to game drives in Central Serengeti, also known as Seronera.
The areas you will visit will depend on where the migrating herds are. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs closely follow the trekking animals and can be spotted in those areas. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south.
During the longer rainy seasons from April to June, they return to the north. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the herds may vary from year to year. Your guide will know where to locate the animals for the best viewing opportunities. where is lunch
